The quality of this product sucks. The price is totally out of line & did not reflect the price @ the Website retailer. The wires are barely covered with a cheap mat'l that has the ribbon sewn on with fishing line! I did not want to exchange it because the shipping cost of return is not worth it. Ripoff

I bought this for my wife to use as a through. The smaller through-sized ones always seem to leave some part of your body cold due to being to small; so, I bought this blanket sized one instead. It takes about three minuets and you can begin to enjoy the warmth. Should be great for her this winter.

So after using this product for a couple days, I did some research and found that there are many different kinds of heated blankety things out there. Some merely warm up the bed for you, some are for serious heat, some stay on all night and others not. This item here is a "heated blanket" and I am perplexed if this is therefore not what I envisioned as an "electric blanket." In short - I had to crank it up to the highest setting for an hour to even feel any warmth. And even then, only some parts of the blanket felt warm. There are no error codes on the control box, and the instructions even seem to indicate (by the fact that it's in the FAQ) that people have asked this very question of whether it's really heating up or not. I guess my warning is that if you *need* an electric blanket to keep you warm in a very cold room - this may not work for you.
