Was very happy to find the install easier than other cards I've had and the setup was a snap. I had the system back up to gaming in less than an hour and had installed 2 cards in SLI format. These cards are very cool looking in my modded case and definately get noticed by friends who check out my rig. I've been playing mostly an MMORPG (Rift) and played an older FPS (Fallout 3) to check out the graphic response and temps. Real happy for the power and performance I get from these inexpensive cards (priced at about $150.00 each).

I bought this card about a month ago and wanted to wait before writing a review so that I know its true capacity. I must say that this card,the MSI version in particular, really impressed me.
First of all, the card looks great with a very aggressive appearance. The cooler is a bit large because it is only .5 inch away from the side panel of my case, So just pay close attention to dimensions of the card.However, it did fit in my HP p6754y case, which is not very big.

Temperatures:
The card at idle,with an ambient temperature in the mid 30 degrees Celsius, stays at about 45C. In the mornings, when the ambient temperature is lower, the card stays at a cool 38C. While playing games like Assassin's creed II and Lara Croft: the guardian of Light(Came free with the card :]) at MAX settings, the temperature does not go over 70C. I know it is a bit high but considering my case is a bit small, I am fine with the temperature. Playing Crysis 2 on advanced settings, the card easily manages to keep FPS above 40 (45 is average) and the temperature stays below 75C.

Before this, I had an EVGA GT430. The fan burned out only after a month. At idle, the GT430(a much weaker card) is WAY louder than the MSI GTX550 Ti. I must say that unless you put your ear right next to the case, you cannot hear the 550 at all at idle. The fan does get louder during gameplay though.

If you are looking for a fairly cheap graphics card with great capacity, great looks and good quality, then definitely go with the MSI GTX 550 Ti. I am VERY pleased with the card.

This card is ok, it's quiet and is adequate for most games. But, there is a problem, at least with the one I received. On system start up, the first thing my computer displays is the video card blurb, which is normal. What is not normal and what an end user should never see is the statement, "Engineering Release - Not for Production Use." Sadly that is what this card displays. Either the video bios or the entire card is not ready or meant to be sold to the public and at this time there is no bios update available. I was very disappointed, it was the best card I could afford and now it has to go back.

I always buy nvidia due to past problems with ati and if possible I always buy from amazon. My thanks to amazon for their help on this, there is a new and hopefully better card on the way.
